George Brown

Born and raised in the Halifax area. Educated at DHS (grad '74) and SMU(grad '79), also TUNS. My career has been dedicated to offshore (marine systems) technology. 

I am an independent contractor providing Dynamic Positioning (DP) System assurance and conducting Failure Mode Effects Analysis on DP systems as required by classification bodies (Lloyds, ABS, DNV) My resume . 

Certified to do infrared surveys!

I enjoy water sports, follow baseball and am usually working on house renovations - it never ends.   
Community theatre is a favourite pastime. Usually providing technical support; I've expanded my talents by occasionally acting. My last play was called "Culture Shock" written by Chris Lorne Elliot, produced by Theatre Arts Guild and directed by Frank MacLean.
